Andrew is a seasoned professional in the field of tax investigations with close to 25 years of experience in advising on contentious tax issues and large-scale tax enquiries. With a strong background in financial and tax-related matters, Andrew has successfully led and resolved a wide range of complex tax investigations. His expertise extends to both individuals and corporate entities, providing valuable insights into navigating the intricate landscape of tax laws and financial regulations. Both a Chartered Accountant and Trust & Estates Practitioner, Andrew has had a long and successful career as a tax investigations expert and headed the tax investigations offering of his previous firm’s Tax Support for Professionals service – providing real-time specialist advice to a network of hundreds of smaller accountancy firms and lawyers. He is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as an active member of the Tax Investigations Practitioners Group (TIPG) and the Contentious Tax Group, tax specialist member groups who support through knowledge sharing, CPD, cross-referrals and sounding boards for regulatory bodies.
