Director
Jon is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 18 years’ experience working in UK tax. Jon joined Price Bailey in 2021 having previously worked for a number of small and large firms in practice. Jon is now based in our City of London office as the tax team’s Director, specialising in corporate restructuring, corporate property tax, commercial and residential property transactions and capital allowances. He has advised large UK and international groups on the UK’s Corporate Interest Restriction and property tax matters, including non-resident Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT).
His experience also includes advising owner managed businesses on pre-sale planning, tax due diligence, Business Asset Disposal Relief, Management Buy-Outs, Purchase of Own Shares and other exit strategies. More about Jon.
Jon has been involved in producing content for Price Bailey’s website in both video and article format. Jon has produced videos discussing both tax case reviews and outcomes of previous budgets, as well as writing content that advises clients on topics such as full expensing and new rules for income tax.
Jon has previously attended speaker events hosted by Moore Stephens to share his expertise amongst other professionals in light of the Spring Budget and regularly presents to his tax colleagues within the firm.
