Gemma joined Price Bailey in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in Tax.
Gemma is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser specialising in corporate tax. She advises companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large groups. Gemma is particularly experienced and interested in R&D and Patent Box claims and has made claims across numerous industries. She is a member of HMRC’s R&D Communication Forum (formerly R&D Consultative Committee).
Her role in the Tax team at Price Bailey includes advisory projects such as corporate reorganisations, share sales and acquisitions, succession planning, property transactions, HMRC enquiries, Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), due diligence and ad hoc tax advice for companies and charities. Gemma has also managed the corporation tax compliance for many large companies and groups.
Outside of work, Gemma enjoys running out in the fresh air and after her young son. Gemma is also a Trustee and Director of Power2Inspire, a charity whose mission is to encourage inclusion through sport.
